What to Do When Your Gadget Gets Wet. Read below!
The first thing to do is to keep the gadget away from the water. This way, you can avoid more water getting into the gadget.
If your gadget uses a removable battery, detach it immediately, as well as the SIM card. The battery is the power source of a gadget and is possibly the main source for the short circuit when it gets in touch with water. If your battery is not removable, move on to the next step.

Dry the gadgets, inside out by using a dry towel or cloth. You can take the gadget apart to dry each of the components inside. But remember to avoid drying it with a hair dryer because the hot air delivered is dangerous to the electronic circuit inside the gadget.
If you buy shoes or another household, you must get this small white bag with Silica Gel written on it. Don’t throw it away because it can be useful, like drying your gadget. Soak the gadget with the Silica Gel in an airtight compartment. If you don’t have the Silica Gel, you can use rice because it is also a good water absorber. For more optimal results, cover your gadget with thin paper so the remains of the wet rice won’t stick to your gadget components.
Because alcohol has the natural properties of being volatile and cannot conduct electricity, it can be used to replace the water inside your gadget. Pour your gadget with water slowly in a small amounts. Then let stand until the alcohol evaporates. You need to take note that the alcohol you can use is the one that used distilled water with isopropyl alcohol specification with a concentration of 95%.
