Uniqlo A Simplicity Rich in Aesthetic

Uniqueness can be an important factor for a company’s success, also for Uniqlo. The brand name which is an abbreviation of ‘Unique Clothing’ was firstly opened on 2nd June 1984 by Tadashi Yanai in Hiroshima city, Japan.

Uniqlo claims their business model as SPA (Specialty store retailer of Private label Aparel) or a special retailer store for private clothing label, where all the stages on the business were managed by the company, from design, production, to sales in retail.

Uniqlo brings a concept in combination of technology, airism (air circulation), and heat tech (temperature controller) which used in many world clothing industries. Besides, the clothing material is also comfortable and sweat absorbing. These qualities are brought to the market with rational prices.

Uniqlo has wide product segment, from clothing for men, women, adults, teenagers, kids, to babies. With the signature of basic and casual style of clothing, you can easily mix and match your clothes.

In Indonesia, Uniqlo has 8 warehouses, such as 5 stores in Jakarta, which are in Mall Taman Anggrek, Mall Kelapa Gading, Lotte Shopping Avenue, Grand Indonesia – East Mall, and Gandaria City. While in Tangerang there are another two stores, which are in Summarecon Mall Serpong 2 and AEON Mall BSD City. And another one in Summarecon Mall Bekasi.
