Improve Productivity with Putting Plants in the Office
An empty office without decorations, paintings, ornaments, or live plants is a bad place to work. Based on a research by University of Queensland in Australia, facts about putting plants in the office will increase employee’s productivity up to 15%. Alex Haslam, one of Psychology Professors, said that a green office will make employees more comfortable and delighted, so they can work better and more productive.
Exeter University and Cardiff University also had done similar research. Researchers compare two offices, which one of them is decorated with some decorative plants while the others one is not. This research had been done in 18 months and proved that putting plants in the office will increase the level of employee’s satisfaction and concentration, besides creating healthier air in the office. Those research results also gave proof that minimalistic design is less ideal to be applied in workspace. What about your office?
