Previously, this park was just a swamp. Named Tabebuya because it is overgrown by Tabebuya trees. Opened in 2012, this park occupy 9.626 m2 land which is a part of Jakarta’s government effort to fulfil 30% of Jakarta’s green space need.
The park in in the southern tip of Jakarta looks enchant because it has a lotus pool. Tabebuya park located near to Jagakarsa’s T-junction, in a derivative which looks like a valley.
This park is wide enough and looks so green with neatly arranged. You can provide a little food at the lotus pool. Or enjoy your meal at the park with using mat. A provided jogging track used by visitors to workout. Even some visitors do yoga at this park, too.
Tabebuya Park also kids-friendly. You can see it from a mini library which provided at the gazebo. Deployed security guard and cleaning officers always keep eyes to keep the park clean and safe. Trash can provided also in every park’s direction. People who routinely visit this park mostly have awareness about their garbages. So, you will not find any garbages scattered at the park.
