Rujak Center for Urban Studies in collaboration with FES (Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung) Indonesia, the Jakarta Administration, and Jaringan Rakyat Miskin Kota (JRMK), held an exhibition titled Ini Kampung which raised the narrative of Jakarta villages. This exhibition has been held since Jan 28 to Feb 8, 2019, at the G Building breezeway, Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta.

The panels presented at Ini Kampung explain the definition of urban villages, viewed from the side of history, academic perspectives, quotes from experts, to villagers quote. There is also a panel that tells about the variety of urban village life, including village problems and the efforts of citizens to live in Jakarta and maintain the existence of urban villages.. Of course not to be missed, village meals that are worth a try.
