Transition to the new normal which required standards health guidelines and other policies to prevent spread of COVID-19 will be implemented to the various sector, either economic or social including tourism. Minister of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia or Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf, Wishnutama was encouraged to prepare standard health guidelines to welcome new normal in tourism sector.
 
The guidelines will requires several stages start from simulations, socializations, publications as well as trials. All stages are closely monitored while considering preparation of each regions. Meanwhile, health guidelines in various tourism spots in Indonesia due to new normal phase carrying the concept of CHS or Cleanliness, Health, and Safety. In other word, every tourist destinations are required to prepare the CHS guidelines to be arise from COVID-19. Bali, Yogyakarta, and Riau are chosen as first priorities of tourist destinations in Indonesia which will implement the new normal guidelines by applying these important requirements:
1. Availability of hand wash facilities in main (tourist) spots.

2. Disinfection and sterilization environmental surfaces on regular basis.
3. Availability of trash bin in main (tourist) spots.
4. Check the body temperature of all visitors and staffs.
5. Requirement of wearing masks.
6. Requirement of coughing and sneezing etiquette.
7. Limitation of visitors to apply physical distancing between visitors.
8. Emergency management if visitor9s) experience health issue(s) while visiting tourism spots.
 
Furthermore, Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf targeting those standard health guidelines or CHS requirements can be simulated in all tourist destinations in Indonesia until the end of June. While CHS verification will be continued until July 2020 and certification are targeted from August to December 2020.
