
The Jakarta Art Week 2019 exhibits works of 10 Indonesian female artists.
There are something different at 21 bus stops along Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin and Istora Mandiri MRT Station. Yes, a number of amazing art works adorning those bus stops and MRT station. The exhibition titled Jakarta Art Week 2019 "Women Talk Art" which was inaugurated Monday, 26 August 2019 by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
10 Indonesian women artists have transformed bus stops along Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin and Istora Mandiri MRT Station into art canvas. They are Patricia Untario, Theresia Agustina Sitompul, Budi Asih, Cempaka Surakusumah, Dian Suci, Kalya Risangdaru, Maharani Mancanagara, Ajeng Martia Saputri, Sanchia, and Hanggita Dewi. The 10 proud female artists want to invite Indonesian women to express themselves as they wish and have the right to actualize themselves in achieving their dreams as high as possible.

Jakarta Art Week 2019 is a program initiated by Mugi Rekso Abadi (MRA) Media in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which aims to make Jakarta a friendly, artsy and charming city. The art exhibition, which is the first held on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin, can be enjoyed for three weeks, starting 26 August to 15 September 2019.
