PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) Tbk, in mid-November launched an app that can help its customers in managing finances. The app called Welma is specifically targeting millennials, because they are considered to be very fond of things that are practical and fast.

BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said that Welma was intended for millennials to manage their finances. "We make an app, they just use it according to their needs. Need mortgages, need car loans, we prepare the app," Jahja said in Jakarta, Monday (11/11/2019).

Welma accommodates transactions in investment products such as mutual funds, bonds and bancassurance. Through this app, customers get the convenience if they want to buy or sell investment products, monitor investment portfolios and look for insurance products.

The nominal value of investments starts from Rp. 1 million to Rp. 3 billion. Customers can buy various mutual fund products such as Ashmore Asset Management, BNP Paribas, Batavia Prosperindo Asset Management, Bahana TCW, Danareksa, and Eastpring. As for insurance products, Welma offers health insurance, education, accidents, pensions, inheritance, to property.
