The government through PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) provides relief to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing discount to free electricity bill until September 2020.
 
Since 1 July, customers have again received subsidies free electricity token for July 2020 from PLN. The subsidy is intended for 450 VA (Volt Ampere) household customers, while 900 VA household customers receive 50% bill relief.

For July bill, customers who have been registered as recipients of subsidies can claim it. There are two ways to claim electricity subsidies from PLN:
 
Via PLN website:
  1. Open the official PLN website portal.pln.co.id.
  2. Click Covid-19 Stimulus (free / token discount).
  3. Fill in the requested data in the search field.
  4. Enter the Captcha code listed on the left, then click Search.
  5. Free electricity token or 50 percent discount will appear in the description column.
  6. Customers can enter the token into kWh meter.
 
Via WhatsApp app:
  1. Open WhatsApp app
  2. Chat to 08122-123-123.
  3. After that, there will be an automatic reply from PLN. Type 1 for Free Electricity Info / Covid-19 Stimulus Discount.
  4. PLN will ask you to enter your customer ID / meter number.
  5. Subsidy token will be given and can be used.
