Increasing number of positive patients of COVID-19 happened every single day. Social distancing was echoed by various groups from celebrities to government. Social distancing itself is one of preventive ways to encourage people to keep distance from others, not to make direct physical contact as well as not visiting crowded places. By implementing social distancing, it is expected number of infected people will be decreasing. So, here’s everything you need to know about social distancing in public.

1. Keep the Distance

Keep a minimum distance 1 meter from others if possible. Wear a mask, jacket or sweater, and glasses to help prevent yourself touching face while staying outside. Try to not touch your face, eyes, nose, and mouth pointedly before washing your hands or at least use hand sanitizer.

2. Bring Your Food Home

It is highly recommended to not eat at restaurants, cafes, and other food stalls during pandemic of COVID-19. You can use drive-through or home delivery services. If you have no choice than buy food outside by yourself, wash your hands immediately before eat that food. Choose good food with high nutrition which help strengthen immune system including vegetables and fruits. Try to not visit those food places during rush hours.

3. Cough and Sneeze Etiquettes

If you have cold and need to get outside, make sure you wearing a mask. Hence, if you don’t have mask, if you need to cough or sneeze, use tissue to cover your mouth or sleeve (elbow). This aims to prevent spreading virus to others. Put tissue in the trash immediately and wash your hands with soap for 15 – 30 seconds and rinse.
