Grab has launched a national campaign #SiapAntarRamadanmu, to celebrate togetherness and deliver the warmth of Ramadan to all communities while maintaining safe distance.

The holy month of Ramadan is the most awaited month for Muslims around the world. However, this year's Ramadan is different from previous Ramadan. We welcomed Ramadan while struggling to face coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic, where people are asked to #stayinghome, including for worship matters. This aims to prevent the spread of the virus.

Departing from this situation, Grab has launched a national campaign #SiapAntarRamadanmu, to celebrate togetherness and deliver the warmth of Ramadan to all communities while maintaining safe distance.

"Since the enactment of physical distancing and large-scale social restriction (PSBB) in Indonesia, people are demanded to be able to adapt to the new normal. And now, we have to adapt in the month of Ramadan. However, this does,’t reduce our passion to provide the best service to our customers and partners. Through #SiapAntarRamadanmu campaign, we want our customers to still feel the happiness of Ramadan in a safer way," says Neneng Goenadi, Managing Director of Grab Indonesia.

To help customers prepare their sahur and iftar meals and help the food and beverage industries in Indonesia to survive, GrabFood launches new features. One of them is "Pesanan Terjadwal". This feature gives customers the flexibility to set order times as needed starting from two hours to two days in advance.

GrabFood also launched Bukber Maya feature, which is an interactive series of events involving public figures that can be streaming by customers. Through Bukber Maya, GrabFood hopes to bring happiness to families during their iftar, while supporting local merchant partners.

Meanwhile, special Ramadan meals offered by the local culinary industries are also present through Pasar Ramadan Online and Paket Beduk Ramadan GrabKitchen that you can find in GrabFood.

In the spirit of sharing for the community, customers can also share happiness and express appreciation to GrabFood delivery partners by ordering special delivery partner menus provided by GrabFood merchant partners.

Grab has also expanded GrabMart service, an on-demand daily delivery service, to ensure that people can meet their basic needs, especially during Ramadan. GrabMart was launched in Jakarta on March 27 and has reached 11 cities in Indonesia including Bali, Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, Makassar, Manado, Palembang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Lampung and Manado.

In addition, Grab also launched GrabExpress which supports parcel shipments during Ramadan. Sending parcels is a meaningful Ramadan tradition. So GrabExpress launched Paket Pengiriman Ramadan, a thrifty subscription package for shipping goods.
