Enjoying Korean Barbeque at Chung Gi Wa

Not only with their songs or movies, Korean culture also ‘caught’ Indonesia with their exquisite cuisine. That’s why many Korean restaurants are more recognized by people nowadays, although actually it had been there since long time. One of them is Chung Gi Wa. If you find some bibimbap menu or a mixed rice placed on hotplate in other Korean restaurants, Chung Gi Wa brings Korean barbeque as their signature menu.

When you get on your seat, you will find a set of electric pan or charcoal. You can choose to grill the meat by yourself, or ask the chef to grill it. Korean people have their own way of eating barbeque, unlike the Western way. You have to put the beef into a lettuce, add the condiments such as kimchi (fermented cabbage), onion slices, or eggs, then wrap it. To give more Korean ambience, Chung Gi Wa uses special Korean-style tableware so you will feel like dining in Korea for real.
