5 Postponed Concerts in Jakarta Due to Coronavirus Outbreak.

The global pandemic of the Coronavirus or COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact for the world, not least for concerts and festivals. Many events must be postponed or even canceled to prevent the virus from spreading.

Fans who have been waiting for a long time must be patient again to be able to watch their dream musicians perform on stage. Then, what concerts in Indonesia that has been postponed? Here's the list!

1. ONE OK ROCK
The Japanese rock band ONE ONE ROCK concert which was originally to be held for two days on 30 - 31 May 2020 at Istora Senayan, is officially postponed. All information regarding ONE OK ROCK's concert schedule will be informed via oorjakarta.com.

The news was announced directly by ONE OK ROCK concert promoters in Jakarta, AEG Presents Asia, PK Entertainment, and Sound Rhythm, through uploads on their Instagram accounts, Tuesday (03/17/2020). This was done in order to reduce the potential spread of the coronavirus outbreak. Later, concert tickets that have been purchased will still be valid. So far, the promoter will not hold a ticket refund process.

2. Hammersonic Festival
The metal music festival Hammersonic is officially postponed following an increase in the Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak. Hammersonic, which is scheduled to be held on 27 & 28 March at Ancol Carnival Beach, is rescheduled to January 15-17, 2021. The information was announced by Hammersonic through its official Instagram account @hammersonicfest.

Although it was postponed, tickets already purchased will still be valid for next year Hammersonic. Nevertheless, for Hammerhead who already has an official ticket and needs clarification, you can contact via WhatsApp at 0877-3836-0920. While for Hammerhead who have not yet purchased a ticket, the ticket prices will be different because there are some additional line up.

3. Dream Theater
The concert of American progressive metal band Dream Theater, in Jakarta is officially postponed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

"Regarding developments in the Covid-19 global pandemic in several countries including Indonesia. Rajawali Indonesia as the Promoter has held discussions with various related parties. Hereby convey that DREAM THEATER The 'Distance Over Time' Tour 2020, which is planned to be held at Allianz Ecopark Ancol, Jakarta, on16 April 2020, will be rescheduled in October - November 2020," Rajawali Indonesia wrote on its Instagram account @rajawaliindonesia.

Rajawali Indonesia ensured that they and Dream Theater would continue to coordinate to arrange the rescheduling of the concert. "For ticket holders, we inform you that tickets are valid for the upcoming concerts. Please be patient for more information," the article continued.

4. Louis Tomlinson
Another music concert postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak is Louis Tomlinson concert, which was originally scheduled to perform on 20 April 2020 at Tennis Indoor Senayan.

This was announced directly by concert promoter Louis Tomlinson, Vizionvibe on its Instagram account @vizionvibe, on Tuesday (24/3). "Considering the mass spread of the Covid-19 in Indonesia, we Vizionvibe as the promoter, hereby decide to postpone Louis’s concert in Jakarta which will be held on 20 April 2020. We will announce the new date as soon as possible" wrote the statement.

Vizionvibe also said that the tickets already purchased remained valid for the upcoming Louis Tomlinson concert schedule.

5. Head in the Clouds
The music and art festival that will feature Rich Brian, Joji, Niki, and other musicians from the 88rising record label was originally be held on 7 March at JIExpo Kemayoan, but was eventually postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Through its official Twitter account, 88rising as the agency and organizer announced they will reschedule the festival after the condition improve.
