Here are some ways to overcome your smartphone addiction. Check it out!
1. Set Time
Several ways are considered effective for limiting the use of devices. Instagram has an activity dashboard to manage how much time you spend on the platform. You can open the "Settings" option in the Instagram application and select the "Your Activity" option. At the very top, you can see a dashboard containing the average time you use Instagram.

2. Turn off notifications
Not infrequently notifications coming from various applications interfere with your activities. Turning off notifications can help you reduce your device usage. However, you have the option to keep some applications active to stay connected with important contacts such as parents, wife, husband, or work. At least, you won't be checking your device every time a notification comes in that isn't necessarily important.

If communication is important, then there's no harm in deleting applications that you don't use for communication. Apart from social media apps, you can also consider deleting games. Both help you get out of the habit of fiddling or constantly opening it even though you don't need it. Apart from that, deleting unimportant applications can free up cellphone capacity.
