Become a Long-Distance Foster with SOS Children’s Village
Have you ever heard about foster village for children who have lost parental care? If so, SOS Children’s Villages might does not sound strange in your ears. This nongovernmental nonprofit organization has been already established in Indonesia since 1972. For the first time, this foster village was established in Lembang, Bandung. Then, this organization spread its wings with adding another village in Cibubur, Semarang, Bali, Flores, and Aceh.
Carrying the concept of “Fostering with full loving and care in a protection of a home”, SOS Children’s Village often held activities for children’s development in each village and also public talk show.
You can join in to become Sahabat SOS (SOS Best Friend) which has a role as monthly donors for the foster village. Your donor will be useful for children to get substitute family through SOS Foster Mother, decent and safe place to live, nutritious food, healthcare, education from early stages until college, and emergency disaster program.
The registration can be done online with filling the form on https://www.sos.or.id/sahabat. At one time, you can also receive mails from your foster children which have developed in the certain foster village as a thank you note from them. How lovely!
