Instagrammable spots at Tanjung Priok Maritime Museum.
When visiting a museum, seeing a collection of historical stuff while learning the story behind it makes your holiday experience more memorable. But do you know? There are several museums which not only display historical objects, but also have Instagrammable spots. One of them is the Maritime Museum located in Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta.
The museum which is planned to be opened to the public in July 2019 has a tower that is perfect for taking pictures. Access to the tower is on the second floor. There is a ladder connecting the second floor with the third floor of the building. The tower has not changed, only the windows have been changed so that there is a cover glass and it is safer for visitors.
On the third floor there are holes as a room ventilation that lead to the sea and buildings behind the museum. This location is also perfect to take pictures. In the room that is not too large there is a staircase connected to the fourth floor which is narrower. But interestingly, there is a circular staircase right in the middle of the room. Around the stairs there is a symmetrical wooden window that is no less Instagrammable. Continue to the last room, you will be presented with a harbour view with all its activities through a gap around the building.
Although there are many interesting spots, until now the museum is still reviewing whether visitors will be allowed to enter the tower or not. In addition, even though the construction has not been completed, you can still visit this museum. And interestingly, before the grand launching, visitors are not charged an entrance fee or free.
