Food containing white rice with a variety of side dishes on it and served in a bowl is so preferred by many people because it is practical, full of innovation, and the price is also friendly. Especially now that more food outlets offer rice bowl menu. But if you are looking for the most delicious, these are the choices!

1. Bansan
This food outlet located quite close to Cipete MRT station will spoil your tongue with Japanese food that is influenced by Western culture or known as Yoshoku Food. This concept is present in three Bansan rice bowl menu, OG Chicken Nanban (Rp. 40,000), Fire Nanban (Rp. 43,000), and Triple Sauce Roast Beef (Rp. 55,000).

To be honest, Alinear's favorite is OG Chicken Nanban. The rice bowl menu contains small pieces of flour fried chicken covered in brown sauce, tartar sauce, and sprinkled with leeks and tobiko on top. The chicken slices are savory and sweet. The taste is even more delicious thanks to homemade tartar sauce.

Interestingly, the rice used in all Bansan menu is fluffier and there is a mild savory taste, which is come from furikake. Furikake is a mixture of dried fish, sesame seeds, seaweed, salt, sugar and food flavorings commonly used in Japan.

2. Black Cattle
The rice bowl outlet, located in Santa Market, South Jakarta, only provides three menu that contain rice and thinly sliced beef, the difference is the taste and the side dish. The three variants are Double Ontama (Rp 50/60 thousand) with two ontama eggs, Grilled Gyudon (Rp 35/45/55 thousand) for the original version, and Spicy Korean Beef (Rp 35/45/55 thousand) for those who like spicy.

3. Foodz by Toodz House
We return to Cipete, this time it's Foodz by Toodz House's turn to spoil your tongue. The rice bowl here is famous for its carbonara sauce. All carbonara sauce menu at Foodz have creamy and milky taste, as well as a slightly savory salty and blackpepper taste. If you are confused which one to choose, you can choose Beef Philly Cheese with slightly wet texture.

4. Truffle Belly
This rice bowl in Jakarta is quite unique because it uses truffle oil, yep just like the name. Truffle oil makes the aroma more fragrant, and tastes more savory. There are four rice bowl menu covered with truffle oil; Truffle Chicken Mentai Sauce, Truffle Chicken Cheese Sauce, Truffle Chicken Mushroom Sauce, and Truffle Chicken Cajun Spice. All four are priced at only Rp 32 thousand.

Food stall owned by chef Arnold and President Joko Widodo's sons; Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Kaesang Pangarep offers rice bowl menu with local flavor, such as Ox-Tongue Dabu Bowl (Rp 49 thousand) which contains thin slices of ox tongue with delicious spicy dabu sauce topping.
