Conflicts with office colleagues cannot be avoided, because every day we meet and interact with them, even from morning to night.

Relationships in the office, whether with colleagues, subordinates, or superiors, can be said to be as intense as relationships with family. So, if you experience problems at the office, this often affects your work performance. So is there a way to resolve this conflict? There is! You can try the following methods as reported by the Female Network.

1. Don't Gossip
Avoid talking about problems or bad things about coworkers who are having problems with you to other coworkers. Discuss your problems only with objective and trustworthy people. Remember, not everyone can be objective. It is not impossible that what you say will be spread to other people which will harm you.

2. Keep Calm
When a conflict with a coworker starts to escalate, try to stay calm and control your anger. Resist the urge to say harsh words, even if you are very sure that you are not in the wrong. By remaining calm, it will show that you respect yourself, as well as minimize further conflict.

3. Listen and Compromise
If you feel the conflict is starting to subside, go to the co-worker with whom you are having problems. Discuss with an open mind and a cool head, listen to the explanation, then try to solve the problem. Your opinion may be very different from his, but that doesn't mean there isn't common ground between the two of you. If you and your partner's heads still can't be put together, be calm so that the situation doesn't get worse.

4. Consult with HRD
There's no harm in asking HRD for help to help resolve your conflict with your coworkers. However, you need to pay attention, you can ask HRD for help if the problem you are facing is serious, disrupts your performance, and is related to the company's performance. If it's just a personal problem, there's no need to ask HRD for help.

5. If All Else Fails, Ignore It!
If all methods still don't work, then the best thing for you to do is ignore it. Focus on yourself and your work. Indeed, in this world, sometimes there are people you should avoid. Work in the office is certainly confusing enough, you don't need to add to that burden by thinking about people who don't want to make peace with you.
